Never Is A Long Time

I'll be realistic.

I don't think United will win this coming Sunday's game against flavour of the week, Arsenal. Everybody talks about how silky smooth this team is. Well, it is true that they posses one the most entertaining midfield line up in the Premier League. Worthy of envy especially to someone like me who cringed at the lack of fluidity in the middle of the park for United.

BUT.

Wouldn't it be nice to smother their faces with their own words if United being United, unpredict-fucken-able and being the only team you write off at your own ignorant peril. If there's one thing these loudmouths should have learned watching United over the years, it is always too premature to count the eggs before they actually hatch.

"You NEVER win anything with kids"

Alan Hansen epitomized just how unpleasant the taste of your own words could be.

So sit back.

United's got nothing to lose. Everybody's practically written us off. Even our own fans. So what do we have to lose ? Well yeah, bragging rights. But that simply means we should be able to play without chips on our shoulders. I just hope that Moyes will not resort to his usual 'safe' defensive style that I think has clearly been proven too risky.

Attack.

Offense is ALWAYS the best mode of defense. Especially with teams with mediocre midfield like United.

Fantasy Fantasized II

Rajah 1

OK. Two Fantasy Football entries in a matter of days. Well I'm not officially obsessed, I was already obsessed ever since I can't remember;

(bullshit, you started playing Fantasy Football last season. Well OK fine - last season)

Ehem, pardon the little conversation between me and the little boy inside me a la Van Persie (yes! *fist pump*)

- Yes ever since last season.

Its just that I think it would help to keep track and rationalize why I did what I did and who I had to sacrifice in order for me to bring in other players, those whom I thought would definitely score some high points for me. And the spirits of time blows pretty strongly in one Eden Hazard's way. To miss the boat now would definitely spell a disaster and a lot of temple-hitting incidents comes May.

For instance, like last season, I knew RvP was gonna injure himself at some point into the season. Or rather, I was hoping that he would. I stubbornly held on to my players and and refused to accept the fact the hated Arsenal's forward was scoring points in abundance for Fantasy Managers.

My decision was based entirely on emotion and foolish hopes. And it cost me dearly. While other managers were enjoying RvP's captain points (double whatever the appointed captain for the Gameweek scores) I was left to pick up drizzles here and there due to the constant changes, for I am one "impulsive doer" and to a further extend, an impulsive decision maker. Funny, I constantly tweaked my team here and there and only refused to incorporate RvP. Simply out of my hatred for Arsenal.

That was up until a dude whom I deem (I wish I could've put this in a less awful manner) whom I deem intellectually less fortunate, told me "Hang tukaq ja RvP yada yada yada something something". Then it hits me, I was talking about this for a long long time; that the problem with intelligent guys is that they don't listen to things from a person whom they feel.. isn't smarter than them.

Then it hits me again, that Fantasy Football is a lot like stockbroking in a way that there are times you hold on to your stocks but doubt not, there will come a time that you will have to let go of some no matter how much it violates your intellectual beliefs.

Now a look into the last Gameweek, I didn't have to sacrifice anybody last week since Chelski didn't have any game in this Gameweek, its only logical that I bring in Ben Arfa as a replacement for Lampard. Shawcross for Rafael was an easy choice for that extra edge he brings to United's offense. So that's 4 points deducted.

I know Dong Ji Wu wouldn't be playing for Sunderland and I have had 4 points deducted already due to Ben Arfa's transfer - thus the question of should Ji be substitued since I have that extra dollars from Lampard's sale. The easy route would've been just to leave Ji in the team for even if he didn't play, I wouldn't lose 4 unnecessary points.

It wasn't up until the last minutes that I decided to use that "Baik Menyesal Beli Dari Menyesal Tak Beli" principle that I have always employed when faced against to-buy-or-to-bye predicament. Thus, the purchase of Steven Fletcher of Sunderland. I've admired the dude for his poaching tendency ever since his Wolves' days. But this was to be his first game for Sunderland and I know how much time some players take to settle within the team no matter how talented they are.

His was a risky buy due to the 8 points deduction. If I were to stick with Ji, yes, I wouldn't gain any points but I sure as hell would retain 4, but if I go for Fletcher, at the MOST logical he would conjure up 2 points and I would lose unnecessary 2 due to his transfer. Therefore in order for Fletcher's transfer to make sense he would've have to score at least a goal. And he gave me two! :)

Breakdown of points for my new transfer goes a little something like this;

1. Lampard > Ben Arfa - Cost: 0 | Return: 9 (+9)

2. Shawcross > Rafael - Cost: 4 | Return: 1 (-3)

3. Dong Ji Wu > Fletcher - Cost: 4 | Return: 13 (+13)

Total - Cost: 8 | Profit: 19 (+11)

Not bad.

OK that is some long ass entry.

We are finally arriving to the actual point of this (un)necessarily prolonged entry, for Gameweek 4, in order for me incorporate Hazard, I have to sacrifice a player of his caliber or or two players; one of entry and another, intermediate class players.

The initial plan looked like this, but since RvP's hatrick heroic last night I think to drop him now would be stupid as I have already bought him up and considering how he will be heavily utilized by United in the upcoming fixtures now that Rooney the Shrek has got himself injured. And to buy him back would mean MAJOR tweaking to the team as he's the single player to cost the managers around 13 mil ++ and will potentially be blown more out of proportion as the season winds down.

That would mean the logical choice is to sacrifice Kagawa and another fringe player. Kagawa, to my dismay, hasn't performed up to the standard I expected of him, but to drop him now might be a little premature since perhaps he has yet to settle to life in the Premier League. This is largely credited to his small physique. Though it has to be said that the signs are there. And United's Gameweek 4 is at Old Trafford and there's every chance he would score or at least make a couple of assists.

Thus, to cut the story short and quite frankly, because I have even bore myself - I have to sacrifice the excellent Cashley Cole and Demba Ba :( in order to make room for Kagawa to stay and for Hazard to play. And the fringe player I brought in of whom, is as sure as the stars in the sky, isn't gonna play; Sammy Amoebi. (sila rujuk Rajah 1)

But that's beside the point, managers bring in lesser players they knew aren't gonna play a single game for them all the time due to the tight budget constraint. The trick is to find a fringe player who might've caused a sudden impact, for instance, last season - Bossingwa.

OK. Stay tuned - because I know I won't.

I Remember The Mockery

RvP spent all but 20 minutes on his debut at Everton in a Red shirt. This was what the ingenious Arsenal fans have had to say. Not match fit. Barely formed an understanding with his new peers. These were the mockeries laid for both United and Persie.

Yep, United did lose the match, make no mistake, its painful to watch, what more with the struggle me and Apis have had to endure just to watch the match as it was Kuala Kangsar on the eve of Eidulfitri at 2.30 o'clock in the morning, there was no mapley whatsoever to help the situation.

But here we are 2 matches-old into the season, Arsenal remains unbeatable and on the contrary, United had already lost once. How in the name of logic has United got more points than the mighty Invincibles ? I am yet left to ponder on the 8th wonder. I told you I will keep score and I will remember all the insults. Simply so that I could rub them on your face when the winds blow south of my ways.

I'll Reserve My Comment For Later, Unless You're, Oh A Liverstool Fan.

I'm so gatal to have blast or 2 at you Chelsea fans. Back then I thought the songs were like 'AVB Is THE Saviour!' and 'The New Mourinho'. Now the songs are like 'Close The Door When You Leave' and 'Pack Up & Leave'. Kelakar you Chelsea fans. There's no Maggi Mee in football. If you want instant results, buy the whole team. No, not like Manchester Shitty. I'm talking Barcelona, bitch.

But even that, wouldn't guarantee you success because God forbids, Barca players might fall down like swatted flies playing with the likes of Sdoke Ciddy.

But I shall reserve my comment up until United has brush off Harry Redknapp's Spurs.

Btw, thanx IMC for the most wonderful of gift I could ask for a birthday. But more on that later. ;)

For now lets enjoy the fact that Chelski is a team of Has-Been and Liverstool is just a bunch loud thugs who produce loud thuds to announce their arrivals. Only for people to still ignore them. Face it, you're his story. I mean history. You brag about shits you haven't been competing for for a long long long time.

Because we're Manchester fucken' United.

Fuck you ye dirty Cockneys!

Friday, January 20, 2012

But Hey..

I hope United would beat the crap out of the pathetic excuse of a team called Le' Arse, or something like that. Because I would surely wipe my ass with Facebook pages of their Cockney whiny, whimpery fans' braggadocios and give them a taste of their own mad-cine. You know how I 8-2 relive the past because it surely is never a good teacher.

But hey..

Quote & Some Shits

"Champions find a way to win, losers find a way to whine.."

- Some ESPN Soccernet commentator.

Beautiful. Beautiful. More so to wipe that shit off your face. Liverpuke, Chelsea and Le' Arse all drew their games - thus the animosity.

We won. At Hawthorns no less. A sticky sticky place to come. Lucky they say. I say its the United's hallmark attribute at play yet again, the Never Say Die attitude.

Panas Hati

Its 1.45 a.m. And am supposed to be fast asleep now. But am not. United is lucky. United is crap. IF Chelshit didn't have that mid season slump, IF Arsenal didn't this, IF Liverpool didn't have that owner bla bla bla bla. Point is you are basing your arguments on how many IFs were there ? And those are some pretty big IFs.

And guess what ? United had all the IFs in the world to feel sorry for ourselves but crux of the matter is that we lick our own wounds and march on. Whereas fragile and the ever young teams like Arsenal keep coming with list of injured players as ever loyal excuses on why is the trophy cabinet still empty after 6 years. Whereas Chelsea had that mid season slump bla bla bla, we won games regardless of the manner in which points were secured, regardless of primadonas-deprived this team is, they fight. They fight through gritted teeth and sheer fucking determination that will burn the likes of Spuds and L'Arse with mere proximity alone.

And that is the mark of Champions.

But of course you have to be there first to have those. But you haven't. So keep talking - and until the fat lady sings - why don't you sore losers sing in her stead ?

"We're United. We do what we want."

I Dunno For Fucks

The defeat to Chelsea still hurts like hell. Not less because the manner in which it was inflicted. Referee having an extra say on which direction shall the game be shifted towards. A less than dubious penalty, failure to warrant any reds when it should and happily waving the exit to our Capitane, the rock-solid Vidic - and in turn causing him to miss such an important fixture at Anfield.

You name it. I feel like twisting a knife on his thigh for inflicting United such a heavy price we shouldn't have to pay in the first place.

Fuck you Martin Atkinson. Fuck you.

Just got up from quite a severe fever, luckily it wasn't as near to dengue as Mak would always point to in the face of us being struck by sudden fevers. I guess its the paranoia you live in when seeing your neighbours or your distant neighbours succumb to the pandemic.

A friend said that my fever was due to United losing at Stamford Bridge. I dunno whether I should be happy or sad. Happy for its like my fate is intertwined with United. Sad because, what else other than United losing at the hands of such a bitter rival in such demoralizing manner.

Fever within this period would also mean I turned 27 wrapped in blazing heat though not less were the celebrations that entail. Endless calls, show ups and treats were received. And from the bottom of my heart thank you.

And Her. She doubled the surprise by first showing up (literally) at my doorstep with a gift - albeit with a little clatters between her lower and upper jaws' teeth, worried of improper timing and my parents' reception. Second with a card & a jar of chocolate. =)

In all my thankfulness, United winning at Stamford Bridge was my biggest wish but I guess that's just too much to ask for after a somewhat perfect 27th birthday. Thenceforth the Premier League run is split wide open again for Arsenal to grab their momentums and take it from here, and off us. =(

God am I worried like hell.

First Defeat of The Season.

The week's end turned out to be the world's end. Well not quite. Its just. Sighs. Depressing. Hopefully we'll pick ourselves up and handles the upcoming matches with characters that have defined United throughout the years. Its make or break. And if we're not up to it, the season could just be in jeopardy.

Its just a wrong wrong time to start dropping off points when Chelshit and Pool are gaining their momentums. And we still have a couple of tough away fixtures to attend to. Pool, Asenal, Chelshit twice and The Bitters albeit at home. If that's to console our hearts.

C'mon United.

Deluded, Disgraceful Arsenal Fans.

I'm sorry. I'm just sorry but I just gotta go out on a limb here. But the rants of 'fluke goal', 'paid referee' and that 'United isn't very good' don't win you games you fucker. People have been talking about how weak and supposedly exposed United is all season long. But we're still unbeaten in the League. And you motherfuckers are just limp on your dick for not being able to crush the apparently 'isn't very good' United team then.

The 'isn't very good' remark is what gets me on my nerve so much. Fuck you bunch of deluded cockneys. And in the famous words of my friend -

'You aint Peter Pan and this aint Neverland'

Keep on massaging that ego while we fondle the trophies.
The Morning Where Park Is Sung.

the author: in the search of gleeful definition

Park Ji Sung loathes Arsenal. There he was again flinching a header past debutant Arsenal goalie. United 1 - Arsenal 0. Perhaps I need to say more, but I'm content - for now.

Gleeful. Just gleeful.

Oh What A Feeling!

pic possibly related & the author might be feeling something like this.

Oh what a feeling. To be signing off from a damn fuckin hectic week. Not to mention signing off from the people who, I loath, just by a mere thought of. OK, those are the 6 most space consuming words of my life.

Why ruin a good weekend to come for the likes. OK. Another life shortening span of words. Enough.

I'm happy.

1. Training Course in Labuan 16-17 Dec.
2. Backpacking Up Yours The 24-29 Dec.

Oh what a feeling. :D

And this. I dedicate this to one of the fiercest rivalries in modern football. Lets toast it up for United & Arsenal. Both great teams with great histories. And 2 of the most respectable figures in English Premier League - Sir Alex Ferguson & Arsene Wenger.

Match is gonna happen Dec 13. I am not really optimistic about the fixture but excited nonetheless.

2-1 win for United. I hope. I sincerely hope. Pretty please ? :|
