What a joy to behold. 

First there was that period when you finally echo that Steven Gerrard's "This is our year" talismanic (boooooring) chant after two decades of cowering to believe. And then there was the very same man literally and figuratively slipping. Slipping the title away from your frail grasp at hopes.

And I thought, from the perspective of moi, as a United fan, whom a season to forget is quite an understatment - my season was quite made. It wasn't so bad after all. And at long last, I was, after a long long time, happy again.

BUT.

Liverstool, I mean Liverpool. Being the source of amusement they are, refuse to go out without a bite, I mean bang. Charlie Suarez, I mean Luis Suarez, the racist bigot who Liverpools fans so shamelessly tried to defend, bit again. Yes, again. A-G-A-I-N. Bringing his biting toll to 3 players. What sort of grown man make his disdain toward a situation known by biting ? I mean euw. Seriously ?

But that's just the player, the person Liverpool chose stand by. And I seriously think its not bad luck, its karma. For Liverpool to go out on a limb trying to force reason when there was none. When they tried to erect defensive lines when its blatantly indefensible.

Oh, but don't get me wrong, despite all these sort-of philanthropically sounding remarks, I regret not the slightest that this had to happen during the World Cup and the whole world had to witness an event so cringe-worthy. I'm no philanthropist. I don't shed tears at what happen to Liverpool fans. In fact, I'm happy that they have to swallow this WHOLE.

This is just too darn darn darn adorable. If I had a daughter I imagine her to be something (err.. something ?) like this.

The 2-year old toddler Leah, had apparently broken a pact she had with her father about not revealing the mirror gift they had come up with together. The idea was she's gonna keep the "miwworr" a secret from Mom until Mothers' Day arrives. Leah, being a child she is had apparently been anxious to tell Mommy. So she came up with a strategy of her own, killing two birds with one stone;

she was going to tell Mom about the miwworr and hide it back. How smart. Why haven't I thought of that ?!

Excerpts from the most adorable Mommy-Daughter conversation (some that I could catch due to Leah's perfect perfect pronunciation)

Mom: You're gonna show me what ?
Leah: *adorable inaudible*

Mom: *chuckles*

This made a bit teary. Who the hell cuts onions during the night ? Sheesh!

Lovely lovely conversation between the girls. I'm sure they're both gonna cherish this moment they shared together as they grew older.

These days I don't even know the song that I have in my 2000 strong playlist, well more actually, but God, I download album after albums but that does not mean I'm gonna listen to the whole lot of them.

So, I stumble upon this song - very easygoing melody, delightfully light music. Makes one smiles, albeit a melancholic one. Truth be told, I don't even know what its saying. And upon Googling, I found out that's its one of those K-Drama OST. So must be either Yan's or these kids' punya kerja. Heck, its enjoyable nonetheless :)

I've missed Eminem. I bet the whole industry's missed him quite sorely. Love him or hate him, the man like Tupac, holds certain appeal to both his fans and naysayers. That said, the first single for his Relapse album, scheduled to drop on the head of May, might just draw criticisms that deserves criticism for the criticisms. I mean overall independent or mainstream reviews and comments have revolved around how Em is getting old, the issues that he plucked so to speak. But I read the SAME exact review back when Marshall Mathers LP was dropped and you didnt even have to guess that it went Multi-Platinum.

I mean Eminem is just who he is. I wouldn't like him if he didnt do what he did. Btw, Sarah Palin in the vid looks so droolsome.

And.

Recently I've grown kinda fond of Lady Gaga. lol. Yea I think shes cute. But more than that. I think shes fuckin cool. (read: Pokerface vid). Yea that video has got me watching it over and over again studying her body language and gestures. Yes sir, no underhanded activity is going on here. Plain star struck moments which are quite easily the same with every container of soul.

Poker Face

I've always admired individuals who can maintain a pokerface despite feeling engulfed with fierce devouring fear. Been thinking about enrolling in public speaking class so that I'll make Obama's oratory skill so pale in comparison to mine that people thought he was white.

I think more or less I can at least maintain the state of my face, though I've never actually seen the playback of my conversation or heated debates in meeting rooms. While I can maintain the flickering presence of confidence to a certain extent, drowning perspiration has always betrayed the fragile front. Am a guy who naturally perspire quite effortlessly even when its not wanted. Quite befitting to say that it chose to appear when the time is not right.

Oh Well. Yea whatever. Besok MU, Arsenal. Both arch rivals from way back. Tho I suspect and hope that the match to be entertaining. Am telling you I could do without. Fuck entertainment so long as you win. Even if its half against a nil. Its still a fuckin' win.
